Communication Supervisor Kristen McGarity recently graduated from the Supervisor Leadership Academy at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training in Salem, Oregon.

The academy is an intensive 80-hour leadership course delivered in two one-week sessions, attended by public safety front-line supervisors from throughout Oregon. McGarity attended the first session July 6–10 and completed the second session August 3–7.

Throughout the program, participants strengthened their supervisory skills through applied leadership training, mentorship planning, policy collaboration, assigned coursework, and milestone assessments.

Her successful completion of the academy reflects her hard work, and dedication to professional growth and public service.
