The Community Development Department provides a range of responsive services for the citizens of Coos Bay and the development community for matters pertaining to land development and community planning. The department is the primary source for public information on development in the City. Although not all development activity necessarily requires direct involvement with the planning staff and support services, they can usually guide inquiries and questions to the right person or entity.

 

Community Development staff are available Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to answer your questions at the front office counter at City Hall. You may also call at 541-269-8918 or email permits@coosbayor.gov to schedule an appointment.
